Anchor R Arena, owned by Dave and Cranna Roberts, is a heated indoor arena featuring 300 ft X 130 ft of riding area. Also available is an inside 50 ft round pen.

The Lacombe, Alberta based venue offers indoor riding, clinics, jackpots, horse sales as well as training in a variety of western disciplines. Boarding, open riding and facility bookings available.

In 2009, Anchor R Arena enjoyed such clinicians as Dee Butterfield, Loc Duce, Kelly Torske and Lynn Smith.
On the roster for 2010 so far are Dr. Britt Mills, Rayel Robinson, Sharon Camarillo and Dee Butterfield.

Directions to Anchor R Arena:

Traveling north on Hwy #2 from the junction of Hwy 12 & 2 go 4km to range road 27-0.
(There is a sign for the nursery golf course on the right side of hwy 2 & a Bles Wold Dairy sign on the left side of hwy 2). Turn left & go 3 km to township road 41-2; turn left (west) & go 2 km to driveway of the Anchor R Ranch.

Traveling south on Hwy #2 from the overpass 431 (1st Lacombe/Stettler exit) it is 4.5km to range road 27-0 where you will turn right and go 3 km to township road 41-2 and turn Left (west) and go 2 km to driveway.

From Hwy 53, turn on Elk Horn road (it is approx.7 km from hwy 2 to elk horn road) Turn south on Elk Horn; it is 10 km to stop sign. Keep going south another 6.5 km to township road 41-2 turn west 2 km.
