Anchor R Ranch is located north of Lacombe, Alberta making it easily accessible from Hwy 2, Alberta’s main north-south corridor.
Anchor R Ranch’s rehabilitation and fitness facility was developed to provide professional care to horses requiring, conditioning, and healing from surgery, injuries or wounds. Providing a safe and comfortable environment for rest and rehabilitation, was paramount in the development and design of this facility.
Anchor R Ranch has two main barns areas featuring modern construction, designed with a focus on safety and comfort. Aisles are wide and ceilings high. Large garage doors offer the option to drive a full size truck and trailer straight in and out of the main barn area. Our roomy stalls with ComfortStall® Floorings all have grilled fronts with automatic waterers in each stall. Sand-footed turnouts are available for those owners wanting outside turnout for their horse.
Whether it is nursing your horse back to health from injuries or wounds, or choosing a pre-season conditioning program or a sales preparation routine, we meet each horses needs through individual programs designed with you and your veterinarian. To aid us in treating your horse Anchor R Ranch has a unique selection of high-tech equipment including an Aqua Incline Treadmill, Cold Saltwater Equine Spa, Centurion Pulsating Magnetic Blanket, Centurion Low Level Laser, and a Performance Solarium.
Every detail can mean the difference in a successful recovery. Attention to those details is our specialty, along with keeping you and your veterinarian informed with crucial information and rechecks.
